I have a BA in English and a Master's degree in Middle Education from VCU.  I worked in the Henrico County School System as a classroom teacher for 9 years.  During that time I taught reading, writing, literature, and history to students in grades six, seven, and eight.  For two years, I worked at an elementary school in Henrico as a contract tutor working with individual students and small groups in grades 1-5 on writing, reading, and math skills.
